Teodoro Ramirez, Secretary, Board of Directors, CSC Teodoro Ramirez joined the Board of Directors of the Chinatown Service Center (CSC) in January 2006. Within a year of serving on the Board he was named Vice President and served on the Community and Economic Development and Fundraising Committees. Teodoro was named President of the Board of Directors in June 2007 and served as President up to 2010.
Teodoro is Business Development Manager at the United Methodist Federal Credit Union headquartered in Montclair, CA. Teodoro has worked in commercial banks in small business lending and commercial lending for the last 15 years. His career also includes economic development positions in local government for the cities of Los Angeles and Oakland, CA. Teodoro earned his BA and MA degrees from UCLA and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business, Executive MBA Program.
Teodoro is proud of the CSC Board's commitment to work closely with the CSC staff. The agency's Board has strengthened bridges with the staff to carryout efficient and meaningful programs to meet the growing needs of the communities they serve. Teodoro enjoys working with his fellow Board Directors and CSC staff to come together to create solutions to any challenges the agency may face. Moreover, Teodoro serves on the CSC Board with enthusiasm. He is impressed with CSC's leadership to create opportunities for increased funding, and provide additional services such as expanded dental services, an optometry center and chiropractic center as well.
Teodoro is optimistic about the future growth of CSC and its continued leadership to provide needed social services and health care services to underserved communities in Los Angeles and Southern California areas. Teodoro is honored to continue to serve on the Board of Directors of CSC and looks forward to working with the CSC Board of Directors and staff to continue its success.
